I am bilingual (Italian and LIS - Italian Sign Language) and almost fifteen years ago I started to work as a free lance interpreter from LIS to Italian spoken language and vice versa. I am a sociologist too, and I am specializing in Deaf Studies trying to combine my previous professional experiences with my studies.
I knew the Siena School for Liberal Arts in 2006 as an interpreter and we started to think on how collaborate to improve the Deaf Studies issues in Italy and... here we are!
